frys electronics service is holding my 8 month old laptop hostage, they were to repair the dvd/cd burner it growled and wasn't recognized when i tried to back up files. they took it apart, lost the screws bent the hinges and now they want me to pay to $400.00 to do the repairs that still haven't been done. They've had it sitting on a shelf since June 06, and still nothing has been repaired. They want me to return the loaner but they don't want to do put the screws in or repair the damage they've done while in for repairs. what good is a full warrenty and exteded warrenty if frys won't stand behind the service they brag so much about. Hey plano Texas service manager I'm still waiting for your call, got my computer done yet? Is your service person back from lunch and dinner yet? Fix the problems your service department created, I can't us the computer if the bottom will not stay on and it can't be plugged in if the plug in point doesn't have screws to hold it in the computer. Goodness you have had the computer on your shelf longer than I've had it on my desk.
