We just got back from France. The people in france are the RUDEST and MOST unhelpful people in the world. If you are thinking of going there, think again. From the moment you step on their soil you will bew treated with disrespect and like you are beneath them. The airport staff couldn't be any nastier...I'm canadian and am used to being polite and having peolpe respect me. These people hate the fact that you cannot speak their language, and when you try to say something in french, they mock you and look pissed off that you even had the audacity to try. We spent 7 days there. Luckily we left Paris in the first 2 days and went to the south. There it wasn't too much better but at least it didn't stink as much as Paris did. By the way if you need to use a washroom while there....good luck finding one anywhere.....and when you do don't be too surprise that the men and women share the same room. I gott tired of seeing guys pull out their penis and think it was just the best thing ever. This is supposedly a first world country... I've been to 3rd world country where it would put Paris to shame. What a historical city, what horrific people. I'd say out of 100 peolpe we came across maybe 1 was alittle bit nicer to us. The general consensus is that they hate tourist. Period. They hate if you're american (unfortunetaly we are considered that). I strongly suggest to learn a few choice words before you go there....it won't make it better but you'll get some satisfaction ......if at all possible avoid them...go to other European contries where they will appreciate your money.
