Do you or did you own a ford product with a 3.8 litter engine? Mine was a station wagon. It was serviced every 3 (three) months by a ford dealers shop. With just 60,032 miles it blew a head gasket. When I took it into the shop I was told this is a common problam with this engine and the repair cost would be more than the value of the car. The machinecs at Ellensburg Ford in Washington State never told me about this problam nor did the Ford Motor Company. When I called Ford the man in the consumer complaint department laughed at me and told me 'that was just too bad. Ford will do nothing about your problam.' He claimed I shoulw have received a notice but even with a notice Ford was only advising owners to get the head gasket changed at thier own expance. Ford would do nothing. What kind of conpany sells a car at $22,000 and treats the comsumer like this? I'm 70 years old and can't aford another car. This car was given the best care available by me. But I got screwed and I'm fuming mad. I want everyone to know hoe rotten Ford Motors is.
