I own a 2002 Ford Expedion.It broke down on Wensday May 25 2002 I had it towed in to Metro Ford Ltd at 2505 Lougheed Hwy Port Coquitlam.I asked them to check what the problem was then notify me with the cost.My son and I stop in at Metro Ford and was shown a price cost of nearly $5,000 I said order the parts and fix the veicle.The next day at work i was talking with some people at work who owned Ford veicles and they tole me that i was getting ripped off.I call ford back and asked what was the price of a new hed for my veicle and was told it was &2,400 for one head.My friend told me not to let Ford touch the veicle and that e would call another mechanic and get him to look at the veicle and see what the problem is.I received a call back from Peet at Budget Brake and Muffler and was told there was a coil pack blown.I asked what the cost was,and i was told $139.99 plus labour.The mechanics at Metro Ford went out and removed a spark plug from my motor and put it on top of the motor making it look like the plug was blown out.I contacted Paul in the service departement and he said that he would look in to it because the mecanic that look at my veicle was out on a test drive.This was 4 days ago i gues the mecanic must be driving across Canada.
