Ford 2 litre diesel engine

Has anyone else had a problem with focus 2 litre TDCI engine. My car has been in the garage for more than 28 days in three visits.there seems to be a problem with EGR valve which causes the car to either not respond when you excellerate or the turbo to just jump in and thrust you back into your with its power. This valve has already been replaced twice we are now on our third valve, the last one lasted 3 days! ,,
