flex fuel

Am trying to get reliable information of flex fuel pick-up truck. Ford dealers sales person's are telling me...... Flex fuel vehicles-engines do not last, off-set in price of ethanol and mileage difference cost you more. Ford does not make a Range pick-up with a flex engine...Suggestion buy a bigger pick up, because the mileages are about the same. Anyone got any info??? Gary
