They did say in the statement announcing their split that there were many causes, but everything but 'he left the toilet seat up' is breaking. Maybe the weekly mags are just testing how litigious Reese is feeling this week. And given her week so far, I would say pretty darn litigious! Us (as in the magazine) is teasing us (as in you and me) with the line, 'What happened between Phillippe and a woman he met in Toronto while filming a movie last January?' Apparently what happens in Toronto, stays in Toronto for only, like, one second, because Lainey's Gossip is pretty certain waitresses in both Toronto and Vancouver have been serving Ryan hot lunch. But the primary scene of the love crime is reported to be Texas, where Ryan was filming a war drama, Stop Loss. A witness told Pink is the New Blog that she had seen Ryan and a sexy blondie together in a restaurant. Though they had a barrier around the table, the witness saw their legs intertwined underneath and, later, saw them full-on kissing. Oh sick, on the lips? The tab claims Reese found a steamy message from Abbie on Ryan's BlackBerry, but they say this happened at the hotel after the Flags of our Fathers premiere. Us and Fox News both reported the couple had a heated dispute at the party. Reese is the sixth of the last nine Best Actress Oscar winners to split with a partner after winning the trophy. She follows in the illustrious footsteps of Hilary Swank, Halle Berry, Julia Roberts, Gwyneth Paltrow and Helen Hunt. Nicole Kidman was single at the time.
