I have a crush on this girl in my class but she hates me. My friends tell me that when girls behave as if they don’t like you, they actually do. I don’t know about Anne. She’s really mean. She is beautiful but bigger than all of us even the boys. Last term, she dealt with the class bully when he called her princess. Or maybe, she hates all boys in which case it’s hopeless that she will ever go out with me. But I think of her always. Last night, I even dreamt about her. Who does she dream about? She’s way too beautiful to go out with me.

I think Anne would be really mean to you and you're going to get hurt. Tom-boys have a soft side too but it sounds like she's not there yet.
