fighting

My ex and his wife are always fighting. It never seems to stop.Every day the two of them find something to fight about and its bad. He will not go to get help and eather will she.I feel very bad for the kids .How can i help them work this out? My son lives with them and i have told him i would like for him to come home but he tells me no way cause he loves his school. My son is great at art and this year he got all the classes he has been wanting. My son says he does not care if thay kill eachother as long as he can attend school there. I on the other had feel that if the fighting every day does not end it will in some way damage my child.He can not grow up in a home that is unstable.But this child will not go to school in New York. What should i do let him stay? make him leave the only school that he loves so much and have him fail? I know I am the parent and what i say gos ,but if i take this kid out of a school he loves will i be doing more harm than good? What sould I do? Please let me know what you all think is best. Thanks
