Festiva Resorts

I am an owner of a timeshare condo (the Atrium) in Sint Maartin that is now owned by Festiva resorts. I own a single week every year and wanted to change that contract to another option offerred by the Atrium of using the condo every other year for two weeks. Thus the number of weeks used would remain the same. For this legal change, Festiva wanted me to pay over $9,000. This condo went for years with low annual fees and is by contract limited to the island CPI which is running about 3.5% but they insist on collecting a 10% increase. When called to account, the response is tough luck. We owners are filing a lawsuit. This is not a friendly owner group and I advise one and all to avoid any Festiva property.
