faulty electricity

This was my second pair of kodo straigtners the other pair broke within months of having them due to an electrical fault. I have had them for about a year and today I noticed the plastic that covers the wire starting to peel off but only slighty and didint think nothing of it until they blew up in my hand with sparks and black smoke coming from it and then the wire that is attached to the straightners fell off and the live wire gave me an electric shoke all thew me body and it was that bad it threw me back.i had to go to hospital to get checked over , thankfully i was ok. hayley.littleford@tesco.net
