False CPS Report on my childhood Best Friend

I’m a 40 year old mother and called Child Protective Services (CPS) and filed a false child abuse report against my best girlfriend of 25 years. We were like sisters. I told CPS that she beat her kids with chairs, hangers, and belts when she has never done that. Her husband employed my husband and immediately fired my husband. When confronted by my now ex-friend, I denied calling CPS and told her "I wasn't surprised someone would report her" . I also, lied to my family and mutual friends saying I had nothing to do with it in order to paint her as the liar. I feel horrible.

Just remember that what goes around comes around. The fact that you would even expose her kids to a chance of being put in foster care makes you evil enough to deserve whatever anyone does to you. If you get raped, cancer, or murdered, just remember what you did.
