I bought a new Emachine from Circuit City in Greensboro N.C. in June, 06. In Sept. I was having a problem with computer. Called Circuit City. Was told I would have to contact Emachine. Did so. Was told I would recieve a box, pack up comp. and send it to manufactor. I did question how much of comp. to send back. Again I was told all of it, monitor, key board, mouse, speakers, all that I had bought. I did so. In about a week, I recieved the tower back. My wife called that evening to see where the rest of comp. was. Was told we wouldn`t get anything else back. Was told that we shouldn`t have sent nothing but the tower. When my wife persisted to try and find out why this was happening, the guy hung up on her. So I called to try to find out what was going on. To make long story short, after numerious phone calls, and very much aggervation I quit calling Emachine. I had contacted the attorney generals office to get a complaint form. Today, more than 2 months later, I get the rest of my comp. back. I really don`t mean to sound unappreciative, but no letter of appology was found, no reimbursment for telephone charges was found. Nothing for all the time spent holding on the phone, only to get somebody that can`t speake plain english. All the aggervation Emachine put my wife and myself through isn`t worth the little bit of money I may have saved by buying Emachine. Really, I would say the same for Circuit City to, because they were no help what so ever. I fell Circuit City could have done something to help solve this situation, but chose not to because I didn`t buy their extended warranty. I don`t fell I should have to pay extra to get people to do the right thing!
