had a full rewire done on our 5 bed house with a few extras but not much the compant sent a 64yold bloke do it on his own for 4 weeks this after them saying it would take 10 days at the most after 4 weeks they sent another 2 men in and took another 2 weeks so thats 6 weeks in total then after 6 weeks i wasnt happy so i got a electric tester in who found some stuff didnt comply and the readings didnt make sence on the inspection and had been made up this company wanted £6500 for the rewire but we provided a lot of the parts they also caused damage to floorboards etc smashed a antique mirror left floor boards loose not even fastened at all they smashed pictures,smoked and let lit fag ends roll into the voids under the floors i even told him about this and that it could smoulder away while me my kids and partner were in bed but got no reply after all this we just wanted the job finished as they were just reacking our home and we wanted the price lowering to compansate for the items we had provided so they said £4250 but we have to do the plastering they have left my home in a state were the plaster would have to re chip out so as to get a smooth finish as they havent channelled out properly before payment we asked them for the nicc certificate and they refuse till payment is made which i belive is against the law we now have plugs and wiring that doesnt work wires that are usless holes in the walls were plaster couldnt go on bricks missing out of the wall between living and kitchen rooms and just dont know where to turn
