Egg card told me repeatedly after I finished uni that I had paid them off, after trying to get a mortgage, new car, loan etc as a graduate, I rang them to see why I couldnt get any of these things, they told me I owed them £600, I said Id been told Id paid them off, they apologised and said it was a mistake. I then received a letter stating they were just going to start taking money from my account without stating how much, how often, how much I still owed, etc. I again emailed and they again apologised for this again stating a fault. I have been told I owe three different amounts, they refuse to waiver fees incurred during this period, they put the phone down an my lawyer and refused to speak to my dad on my behalf, they will not return my credit rating as it should be, they have made all the mistakes and I am the one paying for them. I now cant even get an increase on my overdraft as my credit rating is so bad as for every month I didnt pay them after they told me Id paid them all off every month my credit rating would get worse. They refuse to even speak to my legal representative and I really dont know what else I can do!
