I bid for an Elvis Presely DVD on Ebay before I noticed that it was only in PAL format which is not supported by equipment in the U.S. where I live. I then contacted both Ebay and the seller to cancel the bid. This is a nightmare in that neither Ebay nor the seller acknowledge that the bid was cancelled. Ebay does not allow bid cancellation except under special circumstances which I am claiming. I am now dealing with a company in England demanding payment which I rightfully refuse to pay. Cancelling my membership on Ebay required a threat to file a complaint with the FTC. Beware of trying to bid on Ebay and especially with foreign companies.
