I would be very careful about using DVD codes.net. I did so, paid in full, and then waited 2 weeks for the disk to arrive. After waiting the two weeks, I chased them and was told that I had been forgotten and a disk was in the post. A disk arrived within a week. Unfortunately, it didn't work, so I returned the disk with a hand written note to the effect that the upgrade was unsuccessful and could a second disk be sent. After waiting another month I chased the company again only to be told that I had been forgotten (again). This upgrade was also unsuccessful so I sent an email to the helpline address advised describing everything that had been done and asking for advice on what else to try. No response was received to this email, so I returned the disk with a note saying that the upgrade was unsuccessful. Another month later, I had still heard nothing so tried to email DVDCODES.NET to ask what was going on but the email was rejected due to full inbox. Tried to send the email once a week for the next 3 weeks before finally getting through, and by this time I had decided to ask for a refund. To say this didn't go down well is an understatement and a number of increasingly abusive emails were received before I told them to forget it and not contact me again. This may have been an isolated incident, but be aware that customer service is not the strong point of DVDCODES.NET and be prepared to lose your money. Since this, I have discovered that reconditioned DVD players capable of playing multi-region disks and 6 months manufacturers warranty are available on eBay for less than the cost of the DVDCODES.net DVD unlocking service (though the price excludes postage).
