Driving test cancellation

How do you feel when your driving test is cancelled by the authorities 2 minutes before the actual test? (Nobody even bothered to give an explanation).The expression i got is that either cancellation is very common (that is why they do not bother about it) or person breaking this bad news was anything but professional? Though i can claim my expenses but what about the mental trauma i received? After that hard work for test preparation this is the treatment i received. Does driving standard agency (UK) offer any help in this regard?
