
DON'T BUY Lola Rose

I have to say that I am thoroughly disappointed with Lola Rose and its products and as a result will never buy anything from them again. I have had two bad experiences- Firstly, I was given a necklace for my birthday on a pink suede thong that turned out to be discoloured. When I took it back to House of Fraser they said they had no spare thongs because Lola Rose do not provide them and I could only BUY a new one from Lola Rose. I decided to buy ribbon from a haberdasher instead. Secondly, I bought a beaded necklace from Liberty by Lola Rose that broke- the string snapped. I took it back to Liberty and was told they would send it away to be fixed / replaced FOR A FEE even though the fault was with the necklace itself. After much discussion I was assured it would be sorted for free. Eight weeks later I am still waiting for the necklace to come back, having been refused a refund. It seems that both times the fault lies not with House of Fraser or Liberty but with Lola Rose itself. Needless to say I am absolutely livid that a company such as theirs that charges approx £100 for a necklace should then not accept culpability for ANY faults with them whatsoever and have no consideration for customer loyalty or satisfaction. As a result I will discourage everyone I know from buying their products because if they ever break, they will have wasted £100 on a pile of beads and a bit of string.
