Ordered 2 Russians Tortoise on-line thru Reptile Depot with an overnight FedEx on Friday at 10:00 eastern time... they work on western US time. Got confirmation e-mail immediately... but no tracking... Called on Sat., Guy from there mentioned that shipping is close on weekends, will get package Mon/Tues at the latest... Called on Mon (still no tracking number) at around 3:00pm EST, about 12am-1pm western time... guy did not even ask for my order #... said it will ship out tomorrow... and I should get tracking # at 5-6pm western time... still nothing. Called at around 1-2pm EST, guy was pretty annoyed said that they were slammed and had to send some last minute packages... mine should be one of them... I am pretty annoyed at this point! He told me that I should get tracking number around 5-6pm their time... Got a missed phone call from Josh (reptile depot) at about 4pm EST, he left message saying that because I specified 4-5pm delivery, they only do a 10:00 am shipping.. to call him back. I called back at around 5pm EST; they told me he was at lunch that he will call back... Never did! 'That right there tells me my $29.99 overnight shipping charges were not an overnight anymore and that they have not processed my order!' I have to call Josh back at 7:50 EST and that is when he said they cannot deliver my requested time (excuse for not delivering Mon/Tues) that if I can have an alternate business place to deliver or another set date for delivery (still no tracking number!)... I was pretty pissed and asked if I could cancel my order. He spoke to the manager... still trying to smooze me... I requested that again. Manager Steve got on the phone (was very rude!) very! Said that I was the unreasonable party and they can give me only store credit! I don't think so! Reptile depot can talk to my lawyer if I don't see it recredited on my card! And they can deal with my missed salary for taking 2 days off work to wait for that package I paid $29.99 to overnight for! What would u do in my case???
