Attention all doctors, nurses or anyone in the medical field. If you are looking for a job in Phoenix AZ I would advise you to stay away from an Urgent Care called Good Night Pediatrics. Don't be fooled by the smiles and transparent kindness of the owners and their upper level henchmen. It is all a trick to lure you into a life of servitude. Doctors, to sum it up...it is worse than residency. You do not have control of your hours, your days or even your life. In a word, they own you (or so they think). Basically, you would get more respect working at a fast food restuarant because to the owners of this company, you are nothing more than cattle. You don't have any say in your scheduling, the number of patients you see (try 40-60 in a 12 hour shift and usually by yourself). Let's just say that most of the doctors who started with this company are no longer there. How's that for a track record. All other medical professionals- same thing goes for you. The patients treat you as though you are nothing more than wait staff who should be bending to their every whim. Bottom line, you are nothing more than a way to make more money for this company. So give your talents elsewhere even if the pay may not be as good (doctors this does not apply to you since you can be paid better elsewhere) because your peace of mind is priceless (plus this company does not deserve your talents).
