Disappointed when old flames marry

I'm happily married, yet for some reason, whenever I see that someone I used to be involved with, or even strongly attracted to, I feel disappointed, like I missed out. I don't know why; I don't want them, I want my spouse. But I just can't help feeling like I missed out it failed somehow. WTF is wrong with me?
