Direct TV and it's affiliates have f*****d me!

I called an affiliate of Direct TV in my local community, BCK Communications, and set up my new account with them. I was told my equipment will show up with a certain amount of days via UPS, and then I'm to call this number to set up an appointment. My eagerly anticipated equipment arrived as scheduled, and I immediately went to the phone to call for the appointment. I was told the appointment was already made, and it would be installed on the 7th of October. I was furious. 'Who decided that this was a good day for me? Who asked me first that I would be here on that date? This appointment was made with out my consult, and this infuriates me.' 'I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.' After speaking with a supervisor for quite awhile, they have me still scheduled for the 7th, with the note on the file that if an appointment cancels anytime between then, that they will call me to let me know there was a cancellation and if the satellite can be installed then. Tuesday, the 3rd of October, I get a phone call, first thing in the morning, waking me up mind you, from the Company who is doing the installation, 'Perfect Ten'. 'Ma'am I am calling to confirm you've canceled the appointment for installation?' I spring up out of bed, NOT in a very good mood at this point, 'NO', I replied, 'I did not cancel the appointment. It was scheduled for the 7th, as far as I am concerned, that is where it is still at'. So she tells me the installer will be here somewhere between the hours of noon and five on Saturday, the 7th. We hang up. Later that day I get a call from Direct TV themselves, confirming that the appointment has been canceled. 'I can't believe that it is this flipping difficult to get satellite installed. NO, I did not cancel. At this point I'm seriously considering the notion though.' So, we hang up, with my believing that the satellite is in fact going to be installed Saturday, October 7th. So, at about 2:30 in the afternoon of the 7th, I get this feeling in my gut. I decide to call and find out that he is going to be here. I hear the recording 'No one is able to take your call. At the tone please leave a message and someone will get back to you on the next business day,,,'. Oh HELL no. I call the company who I set the service up with. The Representative tells me as far as his records show, I am still scheduled for set up today. But, I might want to call the Direct TV installation number and verify. Oh, this is not looking good. So at this point I've talked with Direct TV, the main service provider. BCK Communications, the 'authorized' Direct TV representative, and Perfect Ten, the installation company, (or so I thought),,, I call Direct TV and they looked it up in the record and no, there is no appointment under my telephone number nor address for installation. Period. However, (just a longer version of 'but') I might want to call the installation company and verify. I told the person on the phone that I tried and they weren't there until Monday. I was then told to call now a fourth company LC Communications, that they are the ones who actually are the subcontractor to do the installation. Perfect Ten was the company responsible for the shipping. Perfect Ten subcontracts LC Communications to do the installation. (I can feel the top of my head wanting to zoom right out of orbit at about this time). I was given the phone number. So I call, and by now, livid. 'Ma'am, please calm down,,,' I tell her of the conversations, recordings, assumed cancellations thus far, and it appears my service is not going to be installed today. 'Well, let me see if I can get a hold of the company that is doing the installation' What did she just say? I could swear I just heard her say, 'getting a hold of the company whose doing the installation',,, Button, button who's got the f*****g button? She put me on hold and after a few minutes came back on and informed me there was no one in the office and that she would keep trying to see if she could get someone to verify that my service was going to be installed. (She gave me the number to keep trying myself. I called and got the all too familiar recording at this point, 'You have reached us after normal business hours'. I give up!! I called BCK, remember them? Yea it was hard for me to keep in mind who came into the game when also. I immediately asked for a supervisor. The rep asked if she could tell the Super what this was about. I told her 'you really don't want to get me started.' 'Well ma'am, (arrrrrgggggg!!!!) I really need something to inform him to get him down here,,,'. At about 90 miles an hour, I rattle off the last two hours, along with the previous week of conversation. 'Hold please.' NOthing more, nothing less. After a few minutes, she comes back on, and tells me the Supervisor is on his way. 'John' gets on the phone, and I again, rattle off the entire ordeal I am experiencing with the installation of Direct TV, and want to know why my installation was canceled. He looked up on their system, and it showed that everything was a go with them. HOWEVER, it seems there was a person, at Perfect Ten who took it upon himself, BRandon,Friday, October 6th, at 5:31 pm, and canceled my installation. OH, I'm so pissed, I'm calm. So at that point I tell the him, 'ok, you know what, I don't want this. I'm going to be in school for a month and will be away from home, and at this point want you to have this package picked up. I'm over it! I'm calling the BBB and lodging a formal complaint against Direct TV, BCK Communications, Perfect Ten, LC Communications, and Direct Broadcast regarding their haphazard way of doing business, then I'm calling the local cable company. AND I want my credit card credited.' He informs me he will put it in the computer on Monday to have my system picked up, which will be Tue at the earliest. I hang up thinking this is settled. Tuesday is just about over and I call BCK communicatons and I'm informed this time by another John, aka, supervisor, that the earliest he can have UPS there is Thursday or Friday. I tell him Thurday, I want this off my property and my credit card credited back. They can't credit my account until they are in posession of the merchandise. Today is Friday October 13th. The package is still here. I again called BCK Communications and this time the customer service wouldn't give me a supervisor. She would only speak in the middle of the two of us. Finally Mona comes on the phone to inform me, no body ever put it down for a pick up and that she would need two business days for UPS to pick it up. Today I called Comsumer Affairs and am expecting the forms to file a formal complaint re: Direct TV, BCK Communications, Perfect Ten, LC Communications and Direct Broadcast. AFter his prompting, I called my bank and put a dispute on the amount charged to my credit card.
