DIE TO LIVE

It is with a view to diminish the risk of starvation that mankind is subjecting itself to the monotony and tedium inherent in work, said Betrand Russell. With a doctorate qualification and a little over 30 years of service with breaks in between, I am a non-pensioner and I have no enough money to pursue a life style appropriate to the office held. If I extinguish my life on my own, my children will have to carry a stigma for no fault of theirs. At the same time, I do not want to be a burden, even though they may willingly accept liabilities of this type. If Right to Life is what the Constitution vouchsafe for, right not to have life is implied. Legal remedies need to be provided when one wishes rightly to deny to oneself the right to life. Who will bell the cat and ensure the end to mute sufferings?
