I purchased a Hoover Windtunnel Dual V in March. Days past my warranty it has became so plugged up from common houehold debris so many times I can't count. I have to disassemble pretty much the whole unit to clear the clogs. Hoover has told me tough, deal with it.I say it is a defect, but they aren't willing to entertain a replacement as they say it is a comon problem with vaccumms! Why buy a vaccumm if you have to spend time tearing apart the machine every few uses and dealing with the dirt and aggrevation. I think I'll use it for a boat anchor, well maybe not as it would pollute the waters with crap especially if the anchor line breaks and I can't retrieve it from the bottom! I will never buy Hoover (Maytag) products again.
