Debit Card Fraud

In Oklahoma anyway, banks are not required to specify whether debit cards are processed in 'real time' or 'batch time'. This can be a nightmare for people living on the edge (like me) in podunk Oklahoma who check their balance at the machine beforehand, and then find out they should have done it the old fashioned way just to be sure. No disclaimers posted at the machine, no info in the pamphlet. Banks are using this kind of consumer information withholding to make a killing. I even asked a bank employee about it and she didn't know what I was referring to. That's pitiful.
