Days in NIGHTMARE

I recently stayed at the Days Inn at 211 North 1st Street Nashville,TN. To make a long story short, When my family and I tucked into bed, I noticed something was wrong. I felt something eating on me. I immediately looked to see what it was. I saw a small bug on my leg with an abdomen full of my blood. I killed it thinking that would be that. Next thing I knew, I felt more biting. I then freaked out and cut all the lights on and started searching. BUT TRUST ME THERE WAS NO SEARCHING NEEDED!! Our covers, pillows, and mattress was COVERED with these small yellow looking bugs the size of pin heads. OH, I FREAKED OUT. I gathered one of the bugs on a candy rapper and proceeded to the front desk. When I showed the bug to the employee, she said, “OH, I see it.' She then said, ' I will put you in another room. This was at 1 am when we had to move and wake up my infant son and six year old along with all the other belongings we had. After I finally got everyone and belongings moved, I decided to get a witnessed signature to what had happened to us to file a complaint. This is exactly what I wrote:************This is to verify that the room 302, which (My Name) and family were staying in, was infected with bugs in the bedding. (Line with the word witness underneath accompanied with employee signature)************ Of course it took the act of congress to get her to sign it. When I first approached her she said, 'I can not sign that I only saw one bug.' I then replied that she could come look at the bedding. I could tell she didn't want to be near them (WHO WOULD). I then said I can go up there and bring you 20 of them down here. At that moment three ladies approached the desk. (Her exact words: ('I'll deal with you in a minute) To my surprise the lady said 'something is wrong with our safe and it needs to be fix and (GET THIS)she then said 'and someone needs to come clean our bathroom because it is disgusting and it needs to be someone who knows how to clean because it is just absolutely nasty and disgusting'. I then looked at the lady and said at least your room isn't completely infected with bugs. She then asked me about them, so I told her. She then told me that pubic hair was literally all over the bathroom and just nasty period. I said I was just trying to get a signature to verify what happened to us, so I could file a complaint and I felt that wasn't to much to ask for. When the employee finally got back to me I said, 'what if I take these bugs home with me and infect my entire house now that would be an issue.' She then finally hammered around and signed and said, 'I understand; there you go' and that was it. I didn't sleep all night. I literally looked through my husband's and children's sheets the rest of the night with a book light. I was afraid they would eat on my children and sweetheart. The next morning at check out I asked for a complaint form. The employee said, 'We don't have any but I can write it down for you.' I then said, 'No, I'll do it myself.' I then turned around and told the nice looking couple on the entrance couch 'Hope ya'll don't have bug infestation in your room like we did. You know good and well that employee would have wrote it down in front of me and then throw it away as soon as I cleared the door. Another thing, the pool was nasty. When I got in and the water touched my lips, I could taste that the water was dirty and sweaty. Not to mention the hair floating all over the surface among things I never figured out. I would advise no one to stay at this hotel if you value a sanitary environment and your health.
