I have been a member for 4 years. Just been served a steak that was so clearly off that i had to spit it out. I complained to and was grudingly given a refund. Just for the steak meal. I was shocked that they were not more aplolgetic and asked to see the manager. In the meantime my little girl needed the toilet. on the way out she cut her toe on the door. No-one came to she if she was ok, another mum came up to see if i was ok- on the floor of the resturaunt trying to stop the bleeding ( and the crying) finally someone handed me a plaster. No accident report was filled out. The 'Hospitalty' manager evenutally came over after my little girl had stopped crying and I was furious, about the steak, the treatment and lack of attention when we had an accident. He duly informed me that the steak was not off, and sorry about her foot but that the doors were 'just built that way'. I think this is appalling treatment for anyone anywhere let alone afer paying £72 per month membership fees. There is no point on complaining - they just go though and throw out the comment cards, in past experience of complaining the head office just refers you back to the club. Just wondered how many other people are suffering this kind of poor treatment at this expensive 'family' club.
