I went to Currys in Newquey and ask the assistance for AOLbroadband in box gold.Paid my money when i got home and looked noticed we had silver.Phoned number on receipt to tell store what had happened. I had got to customers call centre.the gentleman on the line said he could have a look .His reply was 'I dont think they have gold but you could try the store'I explained this is 15 miles away .I was'nt getting anywhere so put phone down.My husband suggested to phone again and ask about another store.Back again to customers call centre,this time to another operator .explained what had happened and could they give me either Newquey or Truro phone number.I could'nt believe it when I was told to phone the same number again and then add 5.I then phoned the no and put 5 .Had to explain again what had happened[GETTING SORE THROAT].the lady in the end gave me the no for Truro.Phoned again and guess what ended up at the call centre talking to the second gentlemen again.By now I was as you can imagine not happy.He then gave me Truro phone no .Why he coul'nt do this earlier god only knows.I was so pleased when I heard a voice say Truro store.I said to the girl 'I was phoneing about Broadband in a box'before I could finish she said 'sorry we dont do broadband in a box'.'Yes you do was my reply,its normally straight in front of you as you 'walk in .The girl then listen again to my problem and asked me to wait while she found out if they had Broadband Gold.I could hear her talking to a collegue.His reply was no we havent got Gold .Tell her she should have ordered it through AOL.I had about had enough by this time and explained to the girl that I knew that I could order it on-line but thought at the time that it was just as easy to buy it from Curry. What is the point in Currys having it instore if people are being told my the store to buy on-line.I then asked if I could speak to a manager .The reply was no Manager in store.If I wanted to complain then I would have to phone complaints department.I ask for no .I called the No and asked to speak to manager.Well I never no manager on .Ihad to explain again to a gentleman and at the end said they would get someone to phone me that day .2days later no phone call.I have taken the broadband box back to the store and got my money back.To do all this has taken 30 Mi les in travel + 1HR IN PHONE CALLS.All I wanted was to get what I had gone in the shop for ,and to phone shop .I was not expecting to get the run around. At this time I would not buy or recommend anyone to buy from Currys if this is the responce you recieve.
