Continuing NHS Care

My mother was recently assessed as inelligible for continuing NHS care but within two weeks was admitted to hospital as seriously ill. My complaint is that she was assessed on the financial needs of the NHS service and not her own personal medical needs. I understand that this is an entirely common practice
