Aplusentertainment is located in the U.K. I had booked them for my daughter's 1st birthday in a Restaurant on the 8th of Oct'06,Sunday.Over the phone, Daniel, the MD of the Company seemed to be very helpful and suggested I do the booking over the internet.Accordingly, I paid a deposit fee of £50 which they had requested me to pay. The company was aware of the date, venue, my mobile number and the other details.I tried calling them up constantly since Friday, but with no avail and to my utter disappointment they did not turn up for the party.I had never been so embarassed in my life before and to top it all it seemed I had let all the 18-20 kids down.Inspite of my repeated requests they did not provide me with their mobile number. So the first thing I did on Monday was called Daniel up to see where the problem was.At first, he refused to talk to me saying he was very busy and asked me to speak to the Customer services.Emma, at the Customer services said that she could not help me in any ways, but only Daniel could.Even she left a number of messages with him and he did not bother to respond either.Then later on in the day, he called me up to say that the booking did not go through becos I had not paid £1.75 as admin fee which was written in their terms and conditions (but no where was it mentioned that my booking would not go through if I did not ay that) and no where else in the whole process was it mentioned while I made the booking.He also said that his voice mail was not working so he cld not get the messages.There was no apology at all.Over and above when I asked for the refund, he said it is at his abslute discretion and if he wants he'll withhold the deposit.And if he thinks of refunding, it might take upto 30 days time. It seems to me they are a complete cheat company, who do not have any address and do not give any mobile nos.They first give reason of non payment of £1.75 for not coming and then take the money. THEY ARE COMPLETE CHEATS..........................................
