Complaining about my husbands drink problem

My husband does not drink on weekdays because he knows it would affect his work but every weekend he goes to the bars and drinks a lot. I decided that I loved him enough to put up with this but on social occasions he says he has to be semi-drunk in order to enjoy them. He claims it's lack of confidence but he never seems lost for words. It also plays havoc with our sex life as during the week he is too tired and on the weekends too drunk. We are in our late 30's and I feel like I'm in my late 50's. I'm now considering leaving him if he doesn't get his act together.
