Having explained in great detail to a company Called 'Company Moves', based at 39 Invincible Road, Farnborough, Hants, GU14 7QU. UK that many of my my possessions were valuable and fragile and that I needed adequate care and insurance to compensate me if things went wrong during my relocation, I failed to read the small print in their contract and insurance. Instead, like an idiot I fell for a slick sales pitch and promises that all would be well and literally signed away my rights to fair compensation. And boy have I paid for it. They damaged a number of valuable items, took 3 months to process the claim and because I didn't notice all of the damaged items damaged within 7 days (I took 14 days to uncover it), they managed to worm out of a fair settlement. I received just over £100 for damage to property worth several thousands of pounds. It's 'caveat emptor' with these boys and my warning to anyone thinking of entrusting their wordly possessions to these guys is don't. They just don't care and your goods may as well be bags of coal.
