All Ehrlichiosis and rocky mountain spotted fever and lyme disease can be deadly and un-fortunately there Is only one Antibiotic that will kill these bacteria and that Is Doxycycline a from of Tetracycline which In some People have sever allergic reaction to Doxycycline for one thing Doxycycline should not be given to small Children because It can permanently discolor Teeth and should not also be given to pregnant Women. There Is one other Antibiotic that Is almost as effective as Doxycycline called Thiamphenicol from Chloramphenicol but It has been discontinued In The United States In Human use because of the severity of the side effects claiming to cause anemia In some People, there are 2 Other Antibiotics that are effective against tick born bacteria but They are not as effective as Doxycycline one Is called Fluoroquinolones and Rifampin and Erythromycin being the least effective and but both of These Antibiotics have bad side effects too. Telithromycin Is a newer type of Erythromycin which Is more effective.
