I purchased a Coachmen Motor Home 98 model and had it washed. The rear fender flaring fell off. I noticed that the wood behind the formica sheeting was not only wet but rotten. I latter checked all other panels and they too were wet and rotten. This means that the factory didn't tke the time or care if the motorhome was water resistant. They got thier money. Once I complained they stated that it was up to the owner to check for water leaks behind the lining. It seens to me that they should produce a product that can withstand being outdoors.
