Bought an expensive LCD flat screen TV at Circuit City. Got it home and found cracked cabinet while still in box. Brought it back to CC and was told that I was fortunate to get a replacement, since the original showed no sign of damage on the box and once a product leaves the store, 'you own it.' In other words, the insinuation was that I damaged the TV. Have written to the CEO of CC asking for an apology and compensation for the time I spent returning their damaged product. No reply so far.
