Chronic Hoarder

I have one rule: never take anyone home with me. Most people find this terrible but I simply can’t let another pair of eyes see my apartment. There are no big secrets in there. It’s just that I’m a hoarder; a mega-hoarder. I simply can’t stop storing away things. My apartment is an “orderly mess” I acquire stuff like a rodent preparing for winter and while I arrange them properly, I never throw anything away. My big fear is how to move all that stuff when I’m changing cities. I guess, I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.

Tell your friends to rent at storage center and stop buying mail order and tell the insurance company your house is not a library and tell them stores your house is not a storage center if they want you to have the box so bad then they keep it.

I have always wondered about hoarders. I had a friend a few years back who was fast becoming one. It killed our friendship. I didn't understand (I still don't) how anyone would simply collect stuffs of all kinds. Are sure you shouldn't be seeing a shrink or someone? No one would want to visit with you again if they saw your place. Don't you fear rejection?

First I'd like to ask, 'how old are you?' Don't tell me you've never brought home a date, a work colleague or a friend. You must be real loner for this to work for you. I hope you change and let people into your heart and your home. Clean out the stuff you collect and let something new come in.
