cheating by quiz programmes

I entered a quiz program on ITV called mint,I called 64 times and never once got through to put my answer to the question by the presenter,I knew it cost 60 pence but I was not told that I would be charged whether I got through or not.It was not displayed prominently, secondly any gamble allows punters to display their skills except this one,why charge when I had no chance to answer the question.I think this is extortion and cheatimg and should be stopped,If you dont believe me try it yourself. Thank you
