Cell Phone

I have had a terrible experience in the last 6 hours dealing with Nextel's CustomerCare department. My contract was extended based on a sentence or two that was placed on my cell phone bill. By not responding in 30 days, I was forced into another contract period. They say this is legal - I am not sure. I had to sign a two year agreement when I bought the phone but I am now obligated to another year based on a couple of sentences on by statement. Based on nonresponse to the information on my bill I now have to pay a $200 fee to get out of a contract that I did not know existed or wait 6 months to change phone companies. In addition, I have to pay $25 to take the phone number I brought with me to another company. The worst part is the 6 hours I have spent on the telephone today. I was given incorrect information such as 'I will have a supervisor call you back' only to learn supervisors do not work on Saturday at the Nextel CareCenter?
