My Dad resides in Country View Nursing facalities in Bowling Green Missouri. He can not walk or hear well. He needs help to the bath room and walking he does use a walker but not without help, and he rides a scooter. There is just not enough help to get to him when it wants to transport from the wheelchair to the scooter or elsewhere. He turns his light on and I know that he has waited 30 minutes or more for an aid or nurse to come. I see the nurses in the hall just talking and the lights will be on. The Day staff is the worse at giving care. The day nurse call yesterday wanting his scooter taken away claiming he had run into others (Not True) But she got smart with me on the phone and hung up on me. I did not appreciate that. I went directly to the nursing home and disgusted this matter with the Head nurse. And she said that she had NEVER seen my Dad hit anyone with the scooter and proceed to give me the keys for it. Also I want to say that----- The Food is lousy. They have had back ups with their plumming in the kitchen. The smell was more that one could stand. but They went ahead and feed the residents anyway, sitting in the dinning room with the smell. Back to My Father(Clyde) he sits it wet pants for hours. He sleeps in pee all night. I was told that they check all residents every 2 hours, I know that is not true. The Nursing home is just under staffed. The Administrater is not alway trueful. I know that, and also have been told that by other family members of other residents that she just tell you what you what to here be it true or not. I want to report the nurse that hung up on me her name is: Jennifer Barris. She was just ruid. I now have permission for my Dad to use his Scooter. Per the one of the Head nurses, Goldia. Every one there agreed that Dad has not run into anyone and Jennifer said he had. I just want to know that my Dad is treated well and is given at least two if not three showers a week, I know that is not being done he smellsC like pee most of the time and then when they do change him he is not washed every time. Clyde has also fallen several times. He calls for help and if it takes forever for them to see about him he will try and get up on his own. He has a good mind and if fair patient. But the time that he has to way is just uncalled for. Please let me know what can be done as I am not the only one that feels this way. There are lots of complaint there, but I am making a effort to change that if I can. Thank you for any possible help regarding this matter. Ramona Branstetter (Clyde Shrum's) Daughter
