FORD MOTOR CO. Service repairs, took car in to check Air Conditions freon, they told me it need O rings whick I ok'd when they called back after test driving it they said it had a bad lead and that the intake manifold was cracked.They replaced it and 2 days later the A/C was not cooling, They had me leave the car and after checking it out claimed they missed the problem the first time, that it need a new compressor and a condensor. the first cost was for 1107.43 and the new est was over 800.00 but they would discount it down to 550.00 plus freon and taxes. how about the total would have been over 1759.00. It seems to me since it was for a Lincoln and they're supposed to be factory trained that they should have found it the first time and the actual cost shuld have been no more than 600.00 to fix it.So I won't use them again and will tell everone about them. I had a private Auto Repair shop fix it. It took one condensor 2 Orings in the old compressor and freon. The total cost was 550.00 Plus freon plus tax. But the original 1107.43 has not been refunded. I had no trouble with any water leak before Ford Motor worked on it. I think they damaged it on purpose to run uop the cost of repairs.
