camcorder tapes

i am complaining about faulty camcorder tapes which ruined my holiday! i first though it was my camcorder that was faulty with the humidity of the florida heat but i tried the tapes again in spain and the same thing happened.(the tape got chewed up in the mechanism)it was only when i put one of my really old tapes in and it worked,that i realised the fault was with the brand new tapes!i havent a clue who to complain to but i know the tapes are basf which i though were a good make!does anybody know who i can complain to?
