I recently went to a 2nd Ave Thirft store in Lansdale PA. Where i promised my 2 1/2 yr old son he could pick out one toy. Well before we got to the counter my son peeled the price tag off and gave it to me. So i tryed to put it back on, put it won't stick. So i held on to it until i got to the register so it could be rung up. Well when i got there i was honest about what had happened and the empolyee and Mananger had refused to sell me the item because ' it was impropery maked' and accused me of switching tags. If i had wanted to switch tags i would have done so and not said anything. But i didn't because i am an honest person. the manger then had told me if i wanted the item i had to come tomorrow after she can repriced it. She could've right then and there. i asked her nicely if she could make an exception because i knew my son would be upset and he did he cryed for 20 minutes. How is it possible that a store can can refuse to sell an item to a customer. what happened to the customer is always right. I spent over 50 dollars in that store that day. i am in there once a week and i spend over 100 dollars each time. whats the big deal it was a $4 dollar used toy for a child. i am completely outraged. I will never shop there again and who ever reads this shouldn't either. i'm not racist person but when these people act the way they do to the opposite race we have no choice but to call them what they are. i think there has to been some kind of law that says you can not refuse to sell something to a customer. And i know if i go back to this store tomorrow to pick up this item the price is going to change i know it. i have already contacted the the better business bureau and my local news station about this situation and other violation that this store has which are even worse then this. if you have kids you know what i mean.
