I am complaining about Bus Companies that are allowed into Adult Communities where the residents are either Seniors and perhaps Disabled. I am Disabled living in an Adult Community Lisure Village East Lakewood,NJ we pay Maintenance Fees and are supposed to be provided a bus that will take us to the shopping malls, Well our Bright Manager has made and agreement with Loori Bus Co. to come on our property and take us to the shopping malls, the new bus does not have the first step that can be lowered so those disable can go up or donw the steps I was albe to get the bus co. to install a hand railing on the Left side to help up but the manager said, I am not returning the bus. This all took place appro. 3 months ago and I have not been able to go out. I have to wait until my husband has a day off from work to take me to the stores. I donot think bus companies should be allowed on properties we Could fall getting on or off the bus and a lawsuit would be in place. I have contacted ADA to help me.So if ANYONE COULD help bring this to the attention to the public we may be able to change what management and bus companies deals are. I have also contacted Ocean Ride Bus Co. and they answered me with a possible solution to ask the driver to lower the wheel chair lift that is on the buses and I can get on the bus that way Thank you for your help
