The Budget inn in Corning NY is thoroughly disgusting. The place is filthy and the management doesn't care one iota. We had a reservation for three days, stayed one because we were too late to switch that night, went to the desk in the am to cancel next two nights. They asked why, we told them that the room was filthy, they proceeded to charge us an extra $15 for a cancellation fee! We are refusing to pay the fee or the room rate, as we stayed there under duress. Also, they had several dangerous violations of the National and local Electrical Codes, which actually endangered our lives, as an electrical fire was imminent. Btw, if you thought there was a corporate office to complain to,as I did, I can't find it after two hours of looking on the internet. Apparently, anyone can use the name, and there is no recourse.
