BMW Seats

I have just paid out slightly under £30.000 for a BMW 320D SE. The standard front seats in this car have little or no lumbar support , making for back breaking journeys in an otherwords excellent car. At least one UK car magazine has complained about the lack of back support on the 3 series standard seats. One can drive hundreds of miles in a Golf GTI costing almost half the price or even a Smart city car (£7,500)without an aching back. Why don't BMW listen to their customers. If Honda were faced with more than a few complaints in this area, the factory would be instructed to improve the product forthwith. Do BMW think that selling us the 'badge' is enough?
