-----Original Message----- Just one more of the continued problems that I have had this year with this 2004 R1150RT. This time coils replacement. What next!!! For the money I have spent repairing my bike this year (Valeves replace, Rear drive relaced, Fuel pump replaced and now the coils) I could have purchased a new bike. What a waste of my hard erned cash. I was lead to beleave that BMW built quality bike that last. Boy was I missed lead! My bike spent more time in the shop and dead on the side of the road then I have spent riding it this year. These problem are above and beond normal for the high priced quality bike that you claim you build. As you state: 'Since the first one rolled out back in 1923 we have been building motorcycles for real riders. You, with your love of the ride and high standards for performance, have driven us to keep innovating, keep refining, keep improving. So if you have something to say, good or bad, we want to hear it.' Well I have been telling you. And continue to tell you that I am not happy with BMW! I feel that these are not normal repairs and that you sould have helped me, a once loyal BMW fan. You let me down with this bike and the lack of support in rectifying the problems that are not normal for a bike even of lower standards. Please see the past correspondence that I have attached to below. Very unhappy! Look at the boiler plate letter they sent me in reply: Dear Enthusiast: Thank you for contacting BMW Motorrad USA.
