My wife is pissing me off big time today. I feel like I'm going to explode - not a good thing to do in front of a 4 month old baby. I swear her goal is to drive me to the nut house. I bust my ass to be a good husband and father and I'm the most agreeable person you'll ever meet. But today I decided to voice my opinion and stand behind it....apparently that was a mistake. We ended up arguing about an f***ing BBQ. We're vegetarian and I don't think inviting our neighbours to a 'BBQ' and then making them eat vegetarian burgers is a neighbourly thing to do. Thuth be told, they taste like crap and I can't think of any meat eating person who would choose to eat one, or enjoy eating one. My point was, invite them over but don't call it a 'BBQ' because they will come expecting steaks and burgers. Just invite them over and have food and drinks that everyone can have. An hour later we're still arguing and now I'm getying the silent treatment - a nice change to tell you the truth. But she never makes the first move to patch things up either so I know my choices are to endure the silence indefinitely or once again forego any shred of dignity and make the first move. Not today my friends...not today...
