I have lived in Biggin Hill from the year 2000 to 6th October 2006, along Kings Road after moving from Bromley. I have very much enjoyed living in the area because of its rural location and the wealth of historic value associated with RAF and ‘D' Day. It was after completing a contract based in Portsmouth towards the end of 2005 and coming back to Biggin Hill on the 16th December 2005. I found that I was blacklisted, therefore could not pay the mortgage and had to sell the house. During that time I also had to deal with a high amount of damage caused to my property and other incidents involving neighbors on King Road and individuals living in Biggin Hill that was reported to the Police on a number of occasions but was never investigated. I did notice a lot of new faces driving around the valley and along Kings Road causing a high amount of traffic on roads that were once empty before I started the Portsmouth contract. To sum up, the Biggin Hill area has deteriorated in a short amount of time and is not a safe or pleasant area to buy a house.
