Circuit City - Orem, Utah Attention, I purchased a 51' projection TV form Circuit City in Orem Utah. When I purchased the Big Screen I also purchased the Advantage Extended Protection Plan witch states 'Convenient in-home service' and 'We'll get you back up and running in no time.' 'And, if we can't fix it, we'll replace it.' I purchased the TV in April of 2006. In the beginning of July 2006 just over 2 months old the TV quit working. After several long wait calls I finally contacted the service department and they said I would be contacted by the service tech within 24 hours. 72 hours later A Service company called and set up an appointment. Late in October 2006 and 4 months after the first service call the TV was still not fixed! Finally after 100's of calls and numerous messages my account manager called back and said they were going to replace the TV because it was unrepairable. Late October 2006 I went to Circuit City in Orem to see the TV they wanted to give as a replacement, It was not acceptable! So I began calling Circuit City Corporate and then the transfers and voicemails began. It is now November 20 2006 and I have left message after message and still I cannot get a call back to resolve the Issue other than in store credit for less than the purchase price of the original TV. Long story Short I purchased a TV with a several hundred dollar extended warranty from Circuit City about 8 months ago and for the last nearly 5 month's I have been without a working TV and they refuse to give a refund. I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CIRCUIT CITY AGAIN.
